Who We Are
Intown PT is a physical therapy practice established in 2013 to serve patients of metro Atlanta. It was started by Dr. Ingid Anderson and has grown to include a full staff of professional physical therapists with diverse and expert training in diagnosing and treating common conditions that can be often be mitigated without invasive surgery or addicting narcotics. Many of our patients have found relief from recurring pain that would not seem to go away.
In many cases, physical therapy can be the best answer to recurring painful conditions. With training and experience, we pinpoint the cause of pain and dysfunction and how best to treat it. Our therapists are trained to use the latest methods such as:
- Trigger point dry needling
- Manual therapy including soft tissue and joint manipulation and mobilization
- Prescribed exercises, which may include strength training, neuromuscular reeducation, and mobility exercises
- Activity and ergonomic assessment and education
- Pelvic floor evaluation and treatment
- Balance and fall prevention training
- Lifestyle assessment and coaching
